Placement Fees

In consideration of your use of the Services, you agree to pay the following fees for each Placement made with a young person we have referred to you (the “Placement Fees”). A ‘Placement’ occurs once the young person has accepted an offer. The fee is variable depending on the length of the placement undertaken by the young person and you will be notified of the fees when making an offer to a young person. Current fees as of 29th March 2022 are as follows:


  • 1 week = £50
  • 2 week = £75
  • 3-4 week = £100


  • 1-3 months = £250
  • 3-6 months = £500
  • 7-12 months = £1000

Apprentices = £2,500
Permanent = £2,500

2. Workfinder will raise invoices on or after each Placement has been agreed. Invoices are payable within 30 days of receipt. Interest will be added thereafter at the BoE base rate +2%.

3. Placement Fees are exclusive of VAT, which shall be charged at the prevailing rate.

4.For the avoidance of doubt, a Placement Fee is due for all Placements (except for Taster days on the Talent Magnet plan). These include, but not limited to, the following types of opportunities:

  • A day or longer insight placement.
  • An internship of placement for a set amount of time (e.g. one month).
  • An embedded internship where the young person works for a set time each week or month (e.g. every Wednesday afternoon).
  • A placement or sandwich year as part of a course.
  • An apprenticeship.
  • A part-time or full-time job.

5.A Placement Fee is chargeable in the following circumstances:

For every placement of a young person e.g. if the young person joins for an insight week and is invited back for a longer internship, there would be two charges applicable.

6. We are entitled to increase the Placement Fees and/or add additional fees with 24hrs notice placed on the website. Changes will apply to new opportunities placed on the platform after the 24hr notice period has passed. All opportunities on the platform before the notice period expires will be charged on the previous fee structure.
